DIR/Floortime

Imagine Academy offers a multidisciplinary approach which includes integrating the Developmental, Individual Differences, Relationship-Based model (DIR/Floortime) into the school routine. The DIR Model promotes staff members to meet with each student at his or her developmental level, considering their individual profile. By using affect as one of its main principles, the staff members create significant interactions which ultimately promote regulation and engagement and expanding the students circles of communication. At Imagine Academy, we also rely on the DIR Model principles to create group sessions between students, with the objective of promoting social interaction.

Here at Imagine Academy, training is what we do! We have partnered with Profectum to provide training and certification for our staff at all levels.
